Birdmusic

Many composers have been inspired by birds' beautiful sounds. Here are some examples:

Goldfinch Concerto by Antonio Vivaldi

Italian Composer Antonio Vivaldi wrote his Concerto in such a way that the flute imitates the trills and warbles produced by the goldfinch.

The Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams

The Nightingale by Igor Stravinsky

In the Nightingale, a soprano singer imitates the nightingale.

The Cuckoo and the Nightingale by George Frideric Handel

Handel's music combines the sound of the cuckoo with the sound of the nightingale.

Mozart is said to have been inspired by his pet Starling.

...and what inspires you?

Continue Working

****************************************************************
I plan to be knocking at your doors this week, so prepare for your lessons. After a magnificent evening of performing, the hard work continues and the fight against the mundane finger excersices and vocal warm ups go on. The final presentation of  the hard work aggregated on stage gives us the greater satisfaction and peace within ourselves. We've worked hard and have done well. That's what it takes. So, let's get excited about our lessons and continue the routine to success.

A Great Night Together

What a wonderful night! I bet you did not expect performing to be so fun. You were ALL fantastic. Each performer put so much passion and musical expression into their pieces. I am very proud of you.

I also have to thank the Booker, Hutchinson-Gradowczyk, Jacobs, Mezitis, and Sloves families for their contributions.

I am looking forward to seeing you again upon the stage.
